Throughout my career, I have seen IT professionals fail to give good or even satisfactory interviews; and I have experienced this myself many times as well. Too many times, early on in my career, I remember going into interviews, with sweaty palms, dry throat, rumbling stomach and all the other usual signs of nervousness. Being an introvert myself, I had an extremely difficult time facing interviewers. Also, being a second-generation immigrant, with English being my second language, I also struggled to verbally communicate effectively. I was so worried about how the interview would go, what questions I may be asked, will I be able to answer their questions satisfactorily, etc. After mentoring over 250 professionals through their interview process, I wrote this concise book in hopes of helping other professionals like myself deal with the difficult interview process, and prepare for it in such a way that minimizes nervousness while maximizing the chances of success.
