Our dog Spot knows a lot about eating, sleeping and barking, but not much else. Databases are like Spot. They have a lot of detailed information about a very few specific things.
There is a Big can full of different kind of candies. Everytime you want a candy, you just go and search in it. Database just like that Big can, but it contains different informations, everytime you want to know something, you can just go and search in it.
like your time table.everytime you need to set your bag for school you just open your time table and take the books u need for that day.
Database is like an almirah with different compartments with specific labels on each one of them. Whenever you want to take out or put in something, you first search the compartment and then take out or put in required things from/to the compartments.
