In case you are starting on a job,then you should look for a better n bigger company (say for the first 5 yrs,so that you can better your work profile)…..after you have attained a competitive profile the mega-buck companies will themselves follow you……this works for most of the people
well sir, according to me a reputed company is better then higher salary. having experience in better company will provide chances for exposure. so iwould like to say that well reputed company is better then higher salary.
A better company is far better than higher salary because I think that a better company will offer you more exposure in the professional field and help you to gain good skills required to grow. A better job can earn you a position in the society with both name and respect but higher salary can only earn you luxury not satisfaction.

according to me a well company is always better than higher salary.because of good organisation makes good feeling so iwe do any work with confidense,so confidense makes intention to do work in time and also lot of energy
i surely say that getting a job in a reputed company is better than a money….having a position in the reputed company will help to learn more technology and job satisfaction..
From my point of view better company is always good option to go rather than higher salary, because money doesn’t matters much what matters is the knowledge you are getting and after having such a knowledge money automatically will follow you, so now u will have knowledge plus money too
I prefer Best company Because we can improver ourself in the Bigger companies with the limited amount of salay. if we do smat work then automatically increase in the bigger company.
A well known company with a good reputation is far more desirable especialy if one is still in the process of building your career. A great salary will follow once you have gained the relevant experience in your field.
The two criteria are not necessarily mutually exclusive. I believe that a ‘better company’ would have several identifying criteria; it would have a strong corporate culture, it would provide opportunity for advancement, and (of course) the compensation would be equivalent to the quality of talent they attract.

i give first prefrence to salary ,if reputed company give me the higer package obviously its my talent & skills but if a small company give me higer package after knowing my intelligence then i feel proud to be a part of that company because they need ,those workers who will raise the company status by their smartwork & i belive that make me proud(change attitude for better tommorow)
To all those who prefer better company / Better profile- This is an ideal answer that any recruiter looks for. But the fact is more than 70% of employees change their jobs for salary. As they cant quote salary as reason they cover it with some other silver quoted answers.
Many times salary and company are proportional, good companies pay good salary to create a EXIT barrier, also this is an effective tool used to retain employees.
Myself being an recruiter i come across a lot of peculiar personalities who initially state diplomatic reasons for change and once offered they show their real colors and start demanding higher salary.
Finally I would like to end my discussion with a question to all those who said that they prefer better company over higher salary - Will you join a better company if you are paid less than what you are drawing??
