    It’s hard to answer this one without more information.

    1. Move it how?
    2. Move it how far?
    3. How long do I have?
    4. Does it have to be exactally as it was before the move?

    Given the questions there, I would say I would do nothing. It is moving already, as all the continants are.

    They are looking for some sort of recursive answer that involves breaking down a massive project into millions of small steps. My favorite answer is with a pair of tweezers.

    We are already moving it….moving it downwards - Global Warming - and the results are disasterous!
    Rather of moving it further we should work to stop it.

    Do nothing.

    Everest is the result of techtonic shift between india (i believe) and Asia.

    Hence, all one needs to do is just sit still and due to the techtonic shift, between these two bodies, it will move; That is, himalayas will grow by approx 2 inches a year.

    1) Rename the name of Mt Everest to Mt Alps.
    2) Now name Mt Alps to Mt Everest.
    Now you have moved mount everest from Himalayas (India) to Austria.

    Move Mt. Everest relative to what? would be the appropriate question. Mt Everest is constantly moving when the frame of reference is Pluto no matter what Mt. Everest stands for, as long as itss on earth. Or consider a moving train as the frame of reference- Mt. Everest is moving relative to the train. The common answer “Move it stone by stone” is not valid here. After you’ve moved every Mt. Everest’s stone to another “pile of stones”, that pile of stones may never be called Mt. Everest- so what you’ve effectively done is destroy Mt. Everest, not move it.
    Another viewpoint:
    One usually points to a photo and says “hey baby, this is Mt. Everest” and not “hey baby, the mountain in this pic is Mt. Everest”. So when you refer to the pic itself as Mt. Everest, you’ve effectly moved Mt. Everest when you’ve moved the pic, havenue?

    Move is always relative! So if you move, w.r.t you Mt. Everest has already moved. :-) [considering you as a constant]

    There are 2 ways to do this.
    1)
    Call Move routine,

    Move (MountAverest, DESTINATION xxx = AUS) ;

    2)
    temp = MountAverest ;
    MountAverest = MtAlps ;
    MtAlps = temp ;
