“I bought this guide a few days ago to prepare for my interview with Oracle. Many of the questions they asked me were from this guide. I found this book absolutely great!”
I’d rather have a msReader which reads pdoc files- the portable version of msWord doc( or docx). pdoc files when opened in msWord should open first in readonly mode unless an “edit file” button is pressed up there. I’m sure pdoc files, with the property of being editable will overatake Adobe’s pdf format files( because of my presence in M$ )
@Vinay: They can’t provide a facility to open pdf files unless adobe allows them to do so. Remember MS word 07 beta version had a “save as pdf” option but removed it in the alpha release because of business restrictions. If they can convert files from word to pdf, do you think it is difficult to make MS Word read pdf files?
These are few applications for making the modern day employee more productive/lazy:-
1) An application to make my resume visible to all the top hiring parties.
2) An application to make more excuses for leaves.
3) An application to make my pay-check fatter.
4) An application to complete my assignments automatically and please the boss automatically.
Ability to open .pdf files
Word completion, much like tab-completion in much of the popular *nix shells.
I would rather take away some less used feature and make it simpler.
Ability to view the documents in the same way as in acrobat, instead of reading the document in edit mode.
The Google spell checker. LoL
I would better tell my idea, if I am hired, for you not to steal my idea.
To publish MS word docs as blogs on the sites, in one click :).
Remove unused options…
ability to bake cookies, nothing application is complete until it can bake cookies
all newer versions should work effectively with the older versions!
I rather propose fix to all the top bugs that are open on the MS Word.
I feel fixing the long lasting bugs is better than proposing new features.
